eSourcing and optimisation specialist Trade Extensions has added social media functionality to itsTESS Academy™ allowing users to automatically update their LinkedIn profiles when completing courses.

The new functionality means when users now complete courses they have the option to ‘share’ their results and automatically update the ‘Certification’ section of their LinkedIn profile.

Trade Extensions launched the TESS Academy in 2014 as a virtual training institution providing a structured learning path, from novice to expert, for users of its eSourcing and optimisation platform.  Initially, the e-learning courses allow users to achieve a Level 2 certification meaning they will have a good understanding of the platform and are able to launch, analyse and complete a sourcing project.  Levels 3 and 4 will be launched later this year covering more advanced features such as advanced scenario modelling.

Trade Extensions, CEO, Garry Mansell said, “It has always been our intention for TESS Certification to become recognised in the eSourcing and optimisation industry and enabling users to automatically update their LinkedIn profiles provides a convenient way for users to share their achievements with a wider audience.”
