This is a very special edition of By the Buy... because it
marks the tenth anniversary of the company. I have only
been with the company for the last four of these birthdays
but I am thoroughly proud of what the company has
achieved since it was established in the heady days of the
internet boom. If we think back to early 2000, the internet
revolution was in full swing but it was about to change
as investors and business leaders remembered that they
needed the old fashioned notions of a product, revenue and profit to survive.
With hindsight one may not have chosen to create an internet business in a
rapidly declining market but it does focus the mind and brings the quality
of the product to the fore. The quality of Trade Extensions sourcing and
optimisation software was never in doubt and this is why we are still here now
and doing better than ever.

We have been working in this sector for so long now we have established a significant level of experience and data so Joe’s analysis is rooted squarely in fact.
Once again I would like to thank all our customers for their support over the years. It’s been an interesting last
ten years for the company and I predict an even more interesting future as strategic sourcing
and optimisation becomes the norm for companies like yours.
